A large fire force has been mobilized to the Rudolfplatz area: A fire broke out in the Vinfast auto showroom on Monday afternoon, March 20, 2023. This was announced by the Kölner police.
According to initial findings, the fire started from the bonnet of this tram, then spread to the front of the showroom.
To get into the room, firefighters had to break a large door to spray fire extinguishing agent.
The Habsburgerring area and other side streets were cordoned off by the fire brigade. This led to serious traffic jams.
This is the first German store of VinFast from Vietnam, it was only opened in December 2022.
