Meeting Biden, Vietnam communists do not want to hurt China.

In early 2016, when the 12th Congress was in a critical period, when candidates were speeding up to race to the new Politburo and Party Central Committee, suddenly, Mr. Xi Jinping’s special envoy Tong Dao – arrived in Vietnam on January 26. Immediately afterwards, on January 27, when electing the Politburo and Secretariat of the new Party Central Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong was re-elected as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Mr. Tong Dao visited Vietnam until January 30, 2016, after the Congress closed.

A month later, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong also sent his special envoy, Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission Hoang Binh Quan, to Beijing to meet Mr. Xi Jinping. Mr. Hoang Binh Quan was not qualified to meet Mr. Xi. However, because he brought Mr. Trong’s message to Mr. Xi, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan was welcomed by Mr. Xi.

The connection between the General Secretary of Vietnam and the General Secretary and President of China is like that. The communication seems private and confidential. If these two men do not meet directly, they will connect each other through their special envoys like that. What issues they discussed among themselves, the people did not know.

Private sources told us that the group that created the rebellion of Dinh La Thang – Dinh The Huynh – Tran Dai Quang was discovered because of the help of the Chinese side. Thanks to that, Mr. Trong destroyed this group and maintained his unrivaled position in the political arena, even though he was 79 years old, in poor health, and no longer capable of assuming the top position.

It is known that although Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong is Secretary of the Central Military Commission, he has never mastered General Department 2 (ie the General Department of Military Intelligence). Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung held this agency very firmly, but still surendered to Mr. Trong’s power.

Currently, Mr. Nguyen Chi Vinh suddenly fell ill, causing some people to believe that General Department 2 was outmatched and no longer capable of protecting his old man.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong is the person who decides the foreign policy between the two Communist parties. Every time Mr. Xi Jinping is re-elected, Mr. Trong went to visit Beijing. This action raises suspicions that, every term, when Mr. Xi establishes a new foreign policy, Mr. Trong goes to Beijing to “get orders.” This rule has been maintained throughout Mr. Xi’s 3 terms, corresponding to Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong’s 3 terms.

Vietnam getting closer to the US will bring many benefits in terms of self-reliance for the country, everyone can see that. The Communist Party still knows that, and they are increasingly improving their relationship with the US. At the same time, the US also needs Vietnam to be closer to them, to restrain the rise of China. However, Vietnam’s biggest problem today is the head of the Communist Party – General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Mr. Trong cannot be tough with his China, because of hidden relationships that people cannot see. These relationships helped the General Secretary establish a monopoly on the political arena, but they also made the General Secretary not dare to be tough with the North.

Head of the Foreign Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Liu Jianchao met with Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, before the US President visited Vietnam

US President Joe Biden is preparing to visit Vietnam on September 10. This visit will help Vietnam and the US improve their relationship. However, it would be very good if Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong did not be with China” like he has for so long. But, on September 5, right before the US President’s visit, Mr. Xi Jinping sent Mr. Liu Jianchao, Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Foreign Liaison Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, to meet Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong in person. Some people believe that Mr. Liu Jianchao brought Mr. Xi’s “permit” and gave it to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. If you want to meet the US, you can meet, but you have to “ask my permission,” some observers say.

In the country, Mr. Trong let the police beat people’s heads. Arrests, silencing, terrorism, etc., including threats to people in prison. But with the “golden friend” from China, the General still did not forget to be “polite” and had to ask permission to do everything as if China is the host, not the Communist Party of Vietnam.
