Immediately afterwards, on January 27, when electing the Politburo and Secretariat of the new Party Central Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong was re-elected as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. At the same time, the US also needs Vietnam to be closer to them, to restrain the rise of China. However, Vietnam’s biggest problem today is the head of the Communist Party – General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
